Serving ages 8 and up | In-Person and Telehealth

Under the supervision of S. Jane Hohmann, PhD., LPC.

Ashlan is a graduate student at National University pursuing a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and is currently completing her clinical training at Gentle Breeze Counseling under the supervision of S. Jane Hohmann, PhD., LPC. Prior to entering the counseling profession, she earned a master’s degree in Consumer Behavior and spent more than twenty years working in advertising, photography, and design. Her professional background sparked a deep interest in human behavior, relationships, and the experiences that shape how people understand themselves and the world around them.

Ashlan approaches counseling through the lens of relationships, recognizing that people are influenced by their families, communities, and lived experiences. She works collaboratively with individuals, couples, and families navigating relationship concerns, life transitions, anxiety, communication challenges, and other personal challenges. Her goal is to create a supportive, welcoming environment where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped to create meaningful change in their lives.

Outside of her clinical work and studies, Ashlan enjoys photography, creative pursuits, and continuing to explore the connections between relationships, personal growth, and well-being.
