Tommy is a graduate student at Adams State University pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is currently completing his practicum and internship training at Gentle Breeze Counseling under the supervision of S. Jane Hohmann, PhD., LPC. Tommy is dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered care grounded in ethical practice and multicultural awareness.

His clinical interests include integrating attachment theory, developmental perspectives, and trauma-informed approaches into therapy. Tommy is particularly interested in how early relational patterns and traumatic experiences shape emotional well-being across the lifespan. He works to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to explore their stories.

Tommy’s approach emphasizes collaboration, respect for client autonomy, and a deep appreciation for each person’s lived experience. Outside of his clinical training, he enjoys creativity, community involvement, spending time outdoors, and lifelong learning.
