Joshua Jeppesen | Graduate Student Counselor
Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern
Serving ages 8 and up
Under the supervision of S. Jane Hohmann, PhD., LPC.
Joshua is a graduate student at Grand Canyon University pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is currently completing his practicum and internship training at Gentle Breeze Counseling under the supervision of S. Jane Hohmann, PhD., LPC. Prior to entering the counseling field, Joshua served in the United States Air Force for ten years. His military experience fostered resilience, humility, and a deep respect for the complexity of each person’s story, qualities that now shape his calm, relational approach to supporting clients.
Joshua integrates evidence based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) while remaining attentive to each client’s cultural and spiritual perspectives. He strives to create a welcoming, collaborative space where individuals feel understood, supported, and empowered as they work through challenges and build meaningful change.
Outside of his academic and clinical work, Joshua enjoys spending time with his wife and son, caring for their ranch, gardening, reading, fishing, and hiking.
